Sunday Summer Dinner – Spicy Chik’n Sandwiches

Boca is not a company I generally care for; almost all their products have eggs in them, and this annoys me. They’re not alone in doing it, so this goes out to all companies that make only vegetarian and vegan food: why don’t you JUST make vegan food? For real, if you’re in the faux meat/cheese business, why don’t you do yourselves a favor and make all your products vegan? Does no one realize that vegetarians will eat vegan food but vegans won’t eat vegetarian food? Don’t people that sell things want to widen their audience as much as possible?

Anyway, tonight’s dinner was Boca’s spicy chik’n patties, because those are truly the one thing they do really, really well. I try to always keep some in the freezer. So delicious. Mine was on whole wheat thin bread with kale, tomatoes, pickles, and ketchup. This is Dane’s plate: whole wheat bun, Veganaise, pickles, and kale with a side of lemon rice soup with Sriracha.
